The Last Pin Drops

Yesterday I had fun with Andy and Odie, once more we went to the bowling alley. I gave their mother the gifts I bought for them, I hope they enjoy them. I think they are very useful, especially to Andy and Odie.

We got to our lane and it began, again Odie was leading. I was doing fairly well at first, I even got to second place in the first round. After that I just started to mess up, I couldn't keep the ball in the middle. I tried different balls, different weights, but nothing seemed to do much difference.

Even with all my problems, it was so much fun. Once again I finished last and once again Odie won, it sure was fun even if I lost. I know they are having fun as well, their mother thanked me for doing all of this with them and that was so nice. I feel good that I'm helping someone just cause I want to be a good guy, I hope I am a good guy.

Anyway as we left, they gave me a small gift, a bag of some good Fazer chocolate. Because of bowling there with them, I have started to enjoy bowling. Not enough to get my own bowling ball or stuff, but enough to visit them once and a while.

Fellowship of the Waffles

Alright I know the title is pretty stupid, so it's a success ^_^

Today once again I went to see Andy and Odie, our quest was to devour the evil ice cream waffles and end their delicious reign of deliciousness. I got here very nicely, it was nice I could use the car to get here. My mum and dad were with me, my dad thought the boys lived to far away. I don't think they do, it's easy to get here by bus, car or even bike. Well the biking option is for more warmer weather, not this arctic cold that I have now.... fine not arctic, but cold enough.

Well we set off and it was just getting darker and darker, good thing I had my LED lights so I was like a street light. It's such a shame since Andy can barely see, I had to guide him. Yet I don't mind it at all, I rather enjoy helping both Andy and Odie to get around. Finally our quest had reached its goal, sadly this isn't a trilogy, just one parter. Maybe more like half a parter or quarter parter, who cares.

I devoured the evil waffle with strawberry ice cream and chocolate sauce, it was a tough battle. Yet I prevailed, victory was mine. Andy and Odie also came out victorious, such delicious victories. Now being serious, that waffle bar is such a good place. Everything on the waffle tastes so good, even the sprinkles which I usually just do not like.

We went to buy some candy and I needed to put some money on my bus card, so our long journey back began. Our journey back took us through the Dark Lake Forest, with luck I had my twin jewels of illumination. Yes we walked through a forest that didn't have the street lights on at all, it was almost pitch black there. The twin jewels were just those LED lights that I had with me. They are just better than standard reflectors, but the LED's of course have a battery. Anyway I had a nice time with them, I still have a few more times this year.

Malventure

Last Wednesday I was with Andy and Odie again, we headed to the mall together in the fabulous red Prius. I do like that car a lot, it's such a technological marvel. First we headed to Gamestop, they had the PS4 on display there. Of course it was being monopolized by some kids, so it was kinda unfortunate.

Well we headed to a department store next, nothing really of interest. Thou I did see the Nintendo 3DS XL with that Zelda game with it, also the 3DS XL was Zelda themed which was so cool.

After that store, we went to Clas Ohlson, probably wrote that wrong. There we actually talked as we looked at some "pink" Christmas tree decorations, pink isn't a color you should see on a Christmas tree. Anyway I felt like we bonded a bit more, which felt very good.

We had a good dinner at Rax's Golden Pizza Buffet, still it's cheap and you get as much pizza as you want. I helped Andy get his pizza and we had a great time, they ate so much pizza.

We once more went to GameStop and the PS4 was free, Andy and Odie both got to try Fifa 14. That is one powerful console, I do want to get one. After that we headed back, I dropped them off and that was it.

I did really enjoy my time with them boys, they might be shy like I am, but they are good guys.

Revenge of the Pins: Bludgeoning

Well once again I went to the bowling alley with Andy and Odie, before that I was able to play some Ingress around the area. If you are interested to know what Ingress is, click here. I do enjoy that game, it's a lot of fun and gets me out of the house. I'm already level 2, looking forward to level 3. Well the bowling was fun once again, at first I just couldn't hit the damn pins, either it was a gutter ball or I just hit a few pins.

Andy and Odie were doing a lot better, Odie once again won. I was happy for him, but what got to me. I was constantly failing, but right at the end I started to actually learn how to bowl. I started to get more and more. Even caught up a little bit in the second round, but it was too late by then. Still I had so much fun with them and so did they, I'm glad I could help them out like this. I'm sure their mom also appreciates it.

CONVENTION!!!

Well last Sunday I actually took Andy and Odie to this convention, it was a Digital convention with games, camera, TV's and all that junk. The surprising part was, this was their very first convention ever. Also this time I got the use of their handicapped parking ticket, which ultimately was useless.

Anyway the convention was busy even if today was the last day, I think we had a good time there. We walked around and I kept an eye on both of them. It was fairly easy, a few times I had to guide Andy to follow us. Also I have noticed that some people actually see that Andy is visually handicapped, but some just don't give a shit. That is just so wrong, everyone needs to show some respect to people with a handicap.

Well we walked around there, asked them if they wanted to try waiting in line for the PS4. They did not, I could relate cause it was just so busy. I do have some experience with conventions, but then again furry conventions are different. Also this convention was smaller than last time I had been there, which was a shame. Still they did get a PS3 game from there, they got Formula 1 2013.

Overall the convention was poor, but it was nice to be there with Andy and Odie. They seemed to have enjoyed it, which was important.

So Delicious

Well today I again went to meet with Andy and Odie, I loaned Bioshock Infinite to them cause it's a very good game. As I got there, their pet dog was very happy to meet me as usual. Oddly she doesn't bark when I come, but is very happy to meet me.Also she ran out cause she saw some passing dogs, that was so fun. Anyway we left for a nice walk to this waffle bar, I was a bit unsure about the waffle bar at first. All three of us got the ice cream waffle, it was a great choice. That waffle was amazing, I have never tasted anything so good. It wasn't overly sweet, it was just right and the ice cream and whipped cream made it so delicious. I will have to take my lovely boyfriend there the next chance I get, I think he would like it.

Well I walked them back home, next time I'll meet them is next Wednesday. I hurried back home cause I had something this evening, which sadly didn't happen. Anyway, I think I'm slowly reaching to them. I will keep at it and eventually we'll hopefully be good friends.

Club Time 2

Well today I went back to the club, I got the car so it was great. Yet that caused a problem, as I came there I could not find a freaking parking space. I found a place and hoofed it to the club, they were already introducing themselves. After all the nice introductions, we had that dang religious thing, we were supposed to sing. Well a few problems with that, first is that I ain't gonna sing no religious skittles.

Anyway, we did something slightly different today. We went out to collect some leaves, yes fallen leaves. It sure has gotten mighty cold, even when I dressed up warmer. Well we made some glue-the-leaves-on-paper art, last time with the finger paints it was more enjoyable. After that we had something to eat, with my luck it was beef and I don't eat beef. So I ate one cookie and two pieces of candy, how nutritious for me. Well Then Andy and Odie went to play some pool or billiards, I don't really know which one was it. Who cares, they seemed to be having fun. Final thing is that I escorted Andy and Odie to their taxi and they left.

Still it was a nice evening, I kinda get some enjoyment out of this. Andy and Odie are just very shy, I hope they will open up a bit more to me. One thing I noticed this time at the club, there is this young girl there, she is somehow handicapped. She's very open, cheerful and active. Talks a lot and laughs, very nice young girl. She might have a crush on me, I'm not sure, but she does seem to have a small crush on me as she asked if I have a girlfriend. Well I told her no, so I wasn't lying.

STRIKE!!!

Well today I met up with Andy and Odie again, this time it was nearer to me. We actually went bowling and that was amazing, I hadn't been bowling in so long. As we got there, I actually met with Andy's and Odie's mothers boyfriend or companion of some sorts. Anyway, we got our disgusting bowling alley shoes and then the lane. As we started to punch in the details, I'm lucky that the employee came to help out a bit with that.

Well our game could begin, Odie first, then Andy and I was the last to bowl. Good lord was I so freaking...bad, well not so bad. Still I was having problem bowling, the first few times I tried I barely hit any pins. Second round I started to get more, still I was trailing in last place. Final round and I was still in last place, I only once got a Spare that had all 10 pins knocked down.

In the end Odie won, Andy came close second and I was dead last. Still it was a log of fun and I would definitely do it again, so if they go again count me in. Just one thing, those damn bowling alley bowling balls were disgusting, don't they ever clean them.

Elusive Hamburgers

Today my trip to Andy and Odie ended up us going to get a hamburger, even thou I took the salad. I'm just trying to watch my weight, I fell like I've gotten fatter again. Anyway, after the hunt for hamburgers, we went to get some candy. I did not take any this time, again watching my weight.

We took the scenic route back, the place they live is very beautiful. Lots of woods and even a lake, I did enjoy walking there. After we got back, it was time to say goodbye for today.

Luckily I was able to score a ride back home from my brother, but that's all for now. Just a small simple blog, so keep an eye out.

Let's go Clubbing ^_^

Well I don't mean any nightclub or anything, this was a nice club event for the disabled. Anyway I shall get on with, this club meeting took place in my childhood neighbourhood. I got there a bit early since I wasn't sure where it was, but I found it right away easily. I just got lucky, eventually everyone started to show up. Andy and Odie came there, their mother brought them in. First we had to wait till everyone had come in there, it took a while. The first thing we did there was introducing ourselves and tell how we were, me, Andy and Odie were quite nervous.

After this was a small religious thing, which I will not go into. I'm not a religious person at all, I do not believe in the metaphysical at all.

After that we had this finger painting moment, which was kinda fun. Even if it was a little childlike, I did enjoy that. We needed to paint the version of the future that would be carefree  for us, I painted a house with me and my boyfriend living there happily.

After that we ate and then it was just free time, so we could do anything we wanted. I set up the pool table, Andy and Odie had a game. I think it ended up in a tie, but we couldn't finish it. I helped Andy since he couldn't see so well, I actually enjoyed helping them and that's what's important. Well it was a interesting experience, I will attend there again next month.

Shopping Mall Ahoy!

Well today I met with my blind friends once again, but for personal reasons Andy couldn't make it with me this time. So I got some time with Odie, we went to the mall Sello together. Luckily I had the car, so I could take us there. You know how sometimes those SatNav's are just so darn stupid, it guided me right past Sello. I have heard some say that "Don't always listen to the talky box", that's so true.

Anyway we made it to Sello and there was this huge sale going on there, lots of people. Still I found a spot to park easily. First we headed to Gamestop, did some browsing of used games. I did see a few good games I would like to get, but nothing good enough to buy right now.

After that we went to Anttila, that's a store kinda like Debenhams. We browsed some more game, there I saw two games I added to my wishlist. I saw Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and Little BIG Planet 2 Extras Edition, Sack Boy looks so cute and Sly Cooper is furry.

Well after that we went Clas Olson, just a short browse. Then we went to eat in Rex's Golden Pizza Buffet, very nice place. You get as much pizza, salad and other things for like €9,95. We had a good time there, I even had pizza with marshmallows on it, proof here.

That was some very good pizza, it had the cheesy taste of a pizza and the sweet candy taste of the marshmallows. After some ice cream, we walked around before I took Odie back home. He seemed to enjoy it and so did I, they are shy and quite timid. I can relate to that, so I hope I can help them be a bit more brave as I've gotten help from my family and a lot from my lovely boyfriend.

The Adventure Continues

Today was my second day I spent with Andy and Odie, but I'll start from the beginning.

Well it was getting close to my meeting with them and I was running a bit late. Rushing so I got everything ready, I wanted to make a earlier bus so I would have plenty of time to get there. I make it to the bus stop in time, then I waited...and waited...and waited. The darn bus that I wanted never came, I don't know why. Anyway the next bus did come, but 20 minutes later. I was so worried I would be really late, but with some luck I was only late a few minutes.

Well I met with Andy and Odie again, we went for a long walk together. I couldn't think what to talk about, well at first I could. I'm not such a good conversationalist, but since they are shy and don't reply back so much. I do get that this has been my second time I've met them, so I will give them time and see how things go. So if things don't take off, I'll find another visually handicapped person to aid.

Well we bought some candy, since I feel bad mooching off anyone, I took this small chocolate rice candy bar. Also I did want that, I hadn't had one in a long time. Finally I want to limit my sweeties, so that was the ultimate reason why I chose that. As we were leaving the shop, Andy bumped into a bicycle. I felt so embarrassed that I let that happen, still he was fine and nothing happened to the bicycle.

As we got back to their home, we tried to get that game I lent them to work. If you want to know what game, I lent them Far Cry 3 for PS3. As it started to boot up, it wanted to update itself. Don't you just hate that, you get a new game that's really great and you just wanna play it. No no, first you need to wait several minutes for it to update. Anyway once the update was done, let the games begin. Well of course not, this time the console complained that it didn't have enough room on the HDD and the game wouldn't start. Odie began to delete stuff off the HDD, took him a good while until there was enough room for the game to work.

Well it was getting late and it was my time to leave, I left them there to play the game and it was nice. I got to the bus stop and waited again, not really knowing when the bus would come. Since I had time, I started to write this very blog on my mobile. Well I had to stop writing it since the bus came or my stop came, but because of that I lost everything I had written. Anyway I bought the subs from Subway and came home, so I say it was a pretty good day with Andy and Odie.

The Adventure Begins

Welcome to this new blog of mine, I wanted to start doing this blog cause recently I began to volunteer as helper for the visually handicapped.

On the 26th of August I met with this nice woman who we shall call Tabbie, through her I started to volunteer as a helper for the visually handicapped. In that meeting I talked about myself and told her why I wanted to help, she was very pleased that I was interested. She told me that they needed young volunteers, since most of the volunteers were older people. I got to try out these special glasses, each one simulated different levels of visual handicaps. There were 10 of them, the 11th one of course was the loss of sight all together. Anyway, she was pleased that I was offering my time. She had been looking for someone younger, since she had these two 20 year old young men. For privacy and security purposes, I will not use their real names. So we shall call them Andy and Odie, they are twins, but not identical.

Now lets move forward to 2nd of September, just last Monday. I met with Andy and Odie at Tabbie's offices, I was nervous to say the least. Still I think it went well, both Andy and Odie seemed like very nice young men. They were very shy, barely saying much at all. Well we arranged that I would meet them at their home on the 6th, which was today.

So today after attending a meeting at the offices, I went to meet them at their home. Andy and Odie lived in a very nice neighbourhood  there was a lake near them and lots of forest around them. I love forests and lakes, so it was great. Still as we met, I could see that they were nervous. They did have a chocolate coloured Labrador dog, she was very VERY energetic and a happy dog. I did get to meet Andy's and Odie's mother and their brother, looked like a nice family.

For our first outing, we just went for a walk around the neighbourhood. I did most of the talking, tried to get to know them a bit more. They were very shy, but were very nice. I know I'm repeating myself, but it's true. Anyway we went to the local store and bought some ice cream, after that we came back to their place after we walked a bit more.

Back home they did start to talk a bit more, Odie told me that he likes cooking, baking and swimming. Andy is still a bit more shy than Odie, but then again his sight is quite bad since he uses one of those walking canes. Well they showed me their rooms and showed me a bit of a PS3 game, it was a wrestling game and they had made this funny looking custom wrestler. The guy looked like some steroid experiment gone horribly wrong, overly muscled with tiny tiny feet.

Well that was my first day with Andy and Odie, it was a nervous start. Still I have faith that it will work out just well, next time I meet them is on the 11th. Until then, keep an eye out ^_^
